Project initiation    Deadline: 6 November 2017

 

1.     Divide your students into teams and let them brainstorm the ideas:

        “How can we help ….?  What is a need or problem of the community…?

2.     Teams discuss and choose one idea per team. Ask them to prepare presentation with following points:  

         What can we do?

         For whom?

         What do we need for it?

         How much time do we need, where can we get money…?

3.      Teams present and give feedback to each other.

OR  Skype your story! Connect with schools via Skype to present teams´ideas and inspire each other (Skype collaboration). Maybe you can find the same purpose for your activity (raising money for someone who needs it... )

4.      Discuss, value team´s ideas and decide - choose one or more activities that you will really realize

5.      Share your chosen activity to the Padlet to inspire other schools.

6.      Share your story on our Blog (how did you realize the 1st phase).

Examples of activities done by schools: assist the elderly or disabled with chores, coordinate a recycling activity, clean up the surroundings of the school, collect food for homeless, organize charity run for children, visit asylum for children and mothers with toys play with them, visit refugee camp, bake a cake and donate the money you collect, teach the elders to use a smartphone, organize workshop for younger students .....
